Snow Day!
[info]aibellsyvixxe
Hey everyone!

Man, I never go on this thing, do I?  I tend to forget about LJ for long periods of time!

I live in Virginia, and we are currently completely snowed in with over 20 inches of snow!  I'm at my parents' house for Christmas, and they live on a dead end, so my street hasn't even been plowed yet!  We are quite literally stuck here, and I'm going quite a bit crazy.

I'm currently reading "Big Dick, Come Quick" by Calanthe for about the 4th time.  Don't ask me why.  I saw a search for it over on borgin_and_burkes and had the urge to read it all over again.  Gawd, I forgot how hot that fic was.  mmmm I'm loving it all over again.  and it's a snow day .  so I have an excuse.

I wish a had the time/energy/talent to write fanfic like this.  I feel kind of lame friending all these people just to read their fics and not getting to really know them, but seriously how do you all find the time to spend online?  And can barely keep up with my RL relationships, let alone my online ones!  I envy you.

Anyway, just letting all you LJ friends of mine that I'm still a real person, and not some crazy stalker who friended you for no reason.  I just love your stories!

Thanks,

Aibell

For the record.... I don't claim to own my new icon, but I can't remember where I got it from either.  So if you know, feel free to drop me a note!

I wish I was able to write fiction as easily as I can non-fiction personal writing. But alas, my type of writing has always been that of the journal/diary type.

It's late. Or early, I guess, and I find myself thinking about things I haven't thought about in a long time.

I've been in a courtroom exactly once in my life. )

Brokeback Mountain
[info]aibellsyvixxe
I just recently discovered Brokeback Mountain fanfiction!  Up until now I've been almost exclusively reading Harry Potter....

If I friend you on livejournal, it's pretty much because I want to be able to read your fics.  I understand a lot of people are uncomfortable friending people with nothing on their journals.  I get it, I do.  I just don't have the time/energy/motivation to actually use livejournal.

Actually I kind of hate livejournal, and don't really understand why it's used so freakin' often.  it's impossible to find anything!  Or maybe that's just because I'm not used to it.

To make people more comfortable, I thought I'd share a little something about myself.

I'm a 21-year-old female.  I go by Aibell on fanfiction.net, thought my penname was Syvixxe when I originally joined in 2001 (gawd I was young).  I'm a slash fanatic, college student, english/psyc major.  currently writing a novel-length HP fic, but have no plans of posting it anytime soon (simply because it's taking forever, and I don't want to start posting it till I know I'll actually finish it.)  I live in the USA.  Virginia, more specifically.  Fanfiction has practically saved my life.  When I was 15 I was sent to boarding school.  I was going through a rough time, and I pretty much immersed myself in fanfiction to get through it.  I've simmered down considerably since then, obviously, but I still love it.  I love long, plotty, romance/drama fics.  I detest abandoned fics.  Not a big PWP fan, but all about adult fics (i just like there actually being a story/plot/etc.)

um.... the end.  for now.  maybe I'll start using this thint more often, but don't count on it.

I have no idea how to make the layout nice looking, and I dont really feel like learning.

hello
[info]aibellsyvixxe
This is Aibell from fanfiction.net.  I'm on livejournal only to read the writings of people who need you to be logged in in order to read.

I am writing a long novel-length fic right now, but will not start posting until it is done.  I might post here too, but maybe not.
